Can’t my gutters just be repaired?
Maybe is the best answer we can give you here. Depending on the type of gutters you have and how badly they are in disrepair will determine the best course of action. In most cases, plastic or vinyl gutters cannot be repaired. We recommend replacement using a metal seamless gutter system that won’t leak and will last for years to come. If you already have a metal seamless gutter, we will go over all of your options during our inspection process.
What color options do I have?
Today the color options are almost endless and in almost every case can be matched to your home’s color palette exactly. During our estimate process we will go over all of your color options to help you make the right choice that fits your home.
How do I know if my gutters need repair or replacement?
If during a rainfall, you can see or hear the water slapping the ground, pouring over the sides of the gutter, there may be a blockage or the gutter itself may not be aligned evenly. If you notice paint peeling or corroded wood, the gutter is most likely clogged and is causing the water to overflow and run down the back of gutter along the exterior walls of the house. If you notice mold or if you see puddles of water forming around the outside of your house it’s a sure sign that there are drainage problems. Finally, if you notice the gutter sagging it surely needs attention.
Can I install gutters on my own?
Well that depends. The short answer is yes, in many cases you can. Certain gutter systems will require special tools and equipment and the cost of the equipment and tools would be more than hiring a professional. Keep in mind the value of having a professional installer provide the service like warranties and peace of mind know it was done right.
